A structured product is primarily designed as a long-term savings option. During the time to maturity the value may be higher or lower than the amount invested.
Mangold intends, during the time to maturity of the products and as long as normal market conditions prevail, to maintain a secondary market in these structured products. However, during extraordinary market conditions the secondary market may become illiquid. The prices in the secondary market can be higher or lower than the amount invested. Pricing is based on accepted mathematical calculation models and is dependent on the time to maturity, current interest rates, underlying market trends and price movements (volatility) in the market. Trading on the secondary market is subject to commission. During certain periods it may be difficult or impossible to sell a structured product. This may happen during sharp price fluctuations, or when trading on a particular market is closed or restricted for a period of time. Technical issues may also disrupt trading.
